Helm of the Minotaur

This brutal helm is fashioned from the cured hide and skull-cap of a slain minotaur, with the creature's two heavy horns left intact and protruding forward at a slight downward angle. The leather is dyed a deep oxblood red and stitched with thick sinew. Wearers report a faint, persistent smell of musk, and an occasional urge to lower their head and charge.

While wearing the helm, you gain a Gore natural attack. As a standard action, you may make a melee attack against an adjacent target. On a hit, deal medium piercing damage. The Gore attack uses your normal melee attack modifiers.

At-will, std action, requires moving at least 20 feet in a straight line toward the target before attacking; you may make a Charging Gore. On a hit, deal heavy piercing damage and the target must pass a Str save (DC 13) or be knocked prone and pushed back 5 feet. If you use Charging Gore against a target that has cover from a wall or other large object behind them, you may instead pin them against the obstacle, and they take additional medium damage.

You also gain an unerring sense of direction within enclosed spaces; you cannot become lost in a maze, dungeon, or building, and you always know the way back to any entrance you have personally used.
