Erudite Implement (Rank 5)

Effect: The erudite implement rewards careful preparation and a keen mind.

• Gain +100% spell haste. This is a chance to gain an immediate free spellcasting action whenever you spend a standard action to cast a spell. When the roll fails, the chance carries over into the next round.
• You have 5 prepared slots. Once per long rest, you can choose a spell from your class's spell list, even if it is not one of your known spells. You can cast the spell once using this implement, after which you lose the prepared slot until you finish a long rest. Once per short rest, you can change the prepared spell.
• Once per long rest, you can refresh all of your expended preparation slots.
• You can work with an ally to prepare spells from their list into your implement.
