Adamantite ore is an extremely heavy, dull-black ore that is found deep underground, often in the vicinity of powerful ley lines. The secret of purifying it is legendary, but less fantastic is the process of pulverizing the ore and mixing it with steel, which produces a material that is much stronger than normal steel, and has a characteristic dark gray color. Darksteel is prized for its incredible durability.

Effect: Double block rating.

Note: All of these advantages are negated when opposing pure adamantium.
