Reaction to an adjacent ally being hit

You take the damage and effects of the attack in the ally's place. Unlike Intervene, you do not move, so this works even while grappled or rooted.

At rank 2, you gain an additional reaction each round usable only for Bodyguard, and you take only half the damage.
