Stout Heart

Your will is as unyielding as bedrock. When all seems lost, you hold fast.

You gain Inspiration whenever your unbreakable will is truly needed. This includes, at the GM's discretion:

  • The first time in an encounter you are reduced to half your hit points or fewer.
  • When an ally within sight falls unconscious or is killed.
  • When you fail a saving throw against a fear, charm, or compulsion effect.
  • When you choose to stand your ground against overwhelming odds rather than retreat.

You can hold only one Inspiration at a time from this feat, and gain it at most once per encounter.
