Movement Types
Each movement type has its own rules and interactions. Some powers and feats may grant you additional movement types, or allow you to use existing movement types in new ways.
Movement is always expressed as "(movement type) (number)" (e.g. Walk 6 or Fly 10). The number indicates how many squares you can move with that movement type during a single move action.

| Walk | Your normal movement on foot. |
| Climb | You can climb vertical surfaces and ceilings as easily as walking. |
| Swim | You can move through water as easily as walking. |
| Fly | You can fly through the air, unaffected by gravity. |
| Levitate | You can hover above the ground and move in any direction without being affected by difficult terrain or gravity, but have a maximum height. |
| Burrow | You can move through soil, sand, etc as easily as walking, but cannot end your movement in solid earth. |
| Earth Glide | You can move through solid natural earth and stone as easily as walking. |
| Jump | You can make long or high jumps as part of your movement. A "jump 6" means you can jump 6 horizontal squares or 3 vertical squares as a move action. |
| Teleport | You can instantly transport yourself to a different location within range, without provoking opportunity attacks. |
