Retrocognition

You perceive the past as if you were present, reading the temporal residue of events left on a place or moment in time.

Rank 1: Recent Events

You perceive the most recent significant event in your vicinity (within roughly the last day, in a small area). You see and hear the event play out as a phantom replay, but cannot interact with it.

Rank 2: Temporal Rewind

You can rewind your perception of time within certain bounds--up to several days back, or, with extended ritual (one hour of meditation), up to several years back for a single specific moment. The further you reach, the harder it is to focus on a particular event; vague queries return vague visions.
