You shape ectoplasm and willpower into psychic armor, shields, and bastions that protect mind and soul from mental, emotional, and psychic assault.
Rank 1: Psychic Shield & Armor
While concentrating, you gain advantage on all mental saves (Wis, Int, Cha) and you absorb psychic damage equal to your psionic ability score bonus per round.
Rank 2: Empty Mind
A meditative technique that nullifies all hostile mental effects on you for as long as you maintain it: ongoing charms, fears, illusions, mind-reading, and similar effects are suppressed. The technique ties up all of your concentration; you cannot maintain other powers while in Empty Mind.
Rank 3: Intellect Fortress
You construct a psychic bastion around an ally within range. While you concentrate, the ally gains the rank-1 effects (advantage on mental saves, psychic damage absorption) and is immune to scrying and telepathy.
Rank 4: Tower of Iron Will
An aura that grants the rank-1 protections to all allies within a burst-2 of you. (See also the existing Tower of Iron Will page; the older entry is being migrated under Psychic Defense.)
