Class Power
Detect Evil
At will, you can sense the presence of evil. You can detect the presence of outsiders, practitioners of infernal magic, and other signs of evil within a certain range.
As a swift action, you can focus your senses on a specific target to determine specifically if it is an outsider, a practitioner of infernal magic, or has other signs of evil.
Detect Lies
Whenever you hear a lie spoken knowingly, or read words written with the intent to deceive, you immediately sense the deception.
At rank 2, you can sense an uneasy aura around a creature that is hiding its true nature or appearance.
At rank 3, you sense an aura in the space occupied by invisible or ethereal creatures.
Detect Sin
As a standard action, you can learn the sins of a creature. This takes the form of a disturbing and somewhat chaotic vision of the creature's past misdeeds. Roll a Wisdom check to interpret the information:
- DC 10: the severity of the creature's worst sin
- DC 15: the specific kind of sin that is the creature's worst offense
- DC 20: the specific details of the creature's worst sin, such as when and where it was committed, and who may have been harmed by it
This can be repeated on the same creature, to learn about the creature's second-worst sin, and so on.
At rank 2, you can learn the worst 3 sins of a creature, without needing to repeat the action.
At rank 3, you can learn all sins of a creature in a single action (presuming you pass the Wisdom check).
