At-will, swift; you don or doff a cloak of shadows. It can do one, many, or all of the following effects:
- Obscuration: your features are hidden; you either appear to be made of darkness with vaguely discernable shape, or you are a matte black silhouette with no discernable detail within at all.
- Protection: shadows partially absorb harmful effects. Gain Absorb 50% (all), to a limit equal to heavy damage. This limit restores with a short rest.
- Alternate: immediate, 1 soul shard; you nullify any one harmful effect that is either about to affect you or is already affecting you.
- Stealth: you gain advantage on stealth checks while the cloak is active. If you stand in dimness, you are invisible to normal sight. If you stand in darkness, you are invisible even to darkvision, as you simply blend into the background.
