At-will, standard action, circle 3, DC 17+; you flood an area within 60 feet with darkness that preys upon the mind. Every creature in the area (except you) must make a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A frightened creature can repeat the save at the end of each turn, ending the effect on a success. The area is filled with Tenebrae Profundae for the duration (1 minute, no concentration).
- DC +2: increase the radius by 1 (stackable).
- DC +4: creatures that fail their save also take medium psychic damage as the darkness shows them their deepest fears.
- Creatures immune to fear are immune to this effect, but not to the darkness itself.
